Gonna attempt pulling the dash this weekend and swapping in the new one. Ordered a new NRG slim hub and Nardi Deep Corn suede too.

Tabs are broken for the glove box. There's a hole in the dash above where the glove box goes as well.

New dash is in. What a pain in the ***. So much stuff to keep track of and remember where it went. Swapping all the parts over was no picnic either. There was a ground behind the cluster that threw me off for 30 minutes. So glad that's over.

yeah, been there done that..overall it wasnt that bad...my car had that shitty fugly blue interior in it.. swapped it completely to black... I remember that ground.. wasnt it by the steering column?lol

 

Yes it was. Holy crap took forever to find where it went...lmao. I had a blue interior in a previous EG too. But that time I had a friend helping me that knew the ins and outs of it better.

$500. Not worth it in a lot of people's minds...but spending what I've spent so far doesn't make a lot of sense either. It makes sense to me, it's about building it how I want. I'm 38, and have been into Honda's for 13 years, I have the money.

No, vents had to be replaced. Online vendors that are cheaper like majestic Honda wouldn't ship a dash, so I had to go local. You could order vents too if you need them. I cracked the top vent on the dash removing it, so I'll have to replace that.

 

you just took the old vin plate off the old dash and out it on the new one?

 

I haven't even done that yet.

 

I almost cracked my top vent until I realized that it pops up from the front of the dash.

Finally back home! I haven't messed with the seam sealer much and kinda like the OEM look of it the way it is.
