I need your guy's input on something. I've got a 2 1/4" muffler shop catback with no cat, a Vibrant resonator and a WS2 muffler on my car right now. The WS2 muffler is 10 years old and is rusted out or something inside, rattling and sounds horrible. I bought a Vibrant flat black muffler and went to have it put on and it's too long and won't clear the subframe. What is another super quiet muffler that is short enough to fit on our cars and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. My car is super budget friendly and I just can't spend $600 on a catback.
Looking for something similar to this but shorter.

Thanks for the input guys!
Maybe this muffler shop just didn't want to mess with it and blew me off..... Before I buy another muffler I'll go by another shop that's a little more import friendly to see if they can get it to work.
It looks like it fits fine. Could they get it perfectly straight both horizontally and vertically? Tip doesn't stick out too far past the bumper or anything? The guy doing mine was saying he'd have to angle it to get it to clear the LCA since it was a center inlet.
Mine was pretty damn close to close to level. It was a 3in over the control arm and it fit. I used the VRS exhaust kit, and my Brother in Law welded it up for me.
That's good to hear. I think I'm going to go by my normal exhaust guy's shop and see if he can get it to look nice. If not, I'll just put it up for sale and buy a shorter Magnaflow.
Thanks for the input man, really appreciate it.
