man you should have kept the silver TE's. His sol was first for sure. That pics is at least 3 or more years old. i was lost about the panel talking. i love how he has the c/f spoiler on the c/f trunk witht he matching c/f hood.

Just something to look at that you dont see often.THE ONLY thing is the sides. I would prefer to see the edm side skirts on a sol.

so just did some research on my wheels and came across this pic that made me happy

and this was nice too:

guess they used to be $600 a piece and have obviously been discontinued

They were popular for a lot of rear wheel drive cars in their staggered setups...

who says I ever got rid of them

even though I liked the wheels, was never a fan of silver on white and wanted gold, even if it came with a polished lip...

both are 17s either way so still too big...otherwise I'd have the TEs refinished to a color I liked...but just not worth investing time and money on them, which are mint anyways, and rather just go for another whole new set...

hmmm...well that pic is almost 3 years old as well when I had just gotten my last paint job with the new body parts and had the TEs for 2 years before that with my old kit and those sides (other pic I posted was at least 5 years old)...

either way not like its important...never seen the car until now...its pretty funny and ironic if anything

in that pic it only has a cf wing so I assume it got the hood and trunk later?

cf wing on cf trunk seems redundant to me and it wouldn't pop/stand out or just get lost...most people with cf trunks stay wingless or put a colormatched back on from what i know (well at least a lot of Evo owners do it)

I love painted/color matched on a cf trunk for sure though as i'm sure other would agree

i'm almost wearing about getting a cf trunk and to how it would blend in to the panel

one thing for sure is I don't think at this point I could go wingless one way or another

when was the last time a pair of EDM sides went for sale? I'd love to get my hand on some of those

Or modify the ones he has and I used to have like MAFDARK did to his (i think)

Seen a set of those in CF on eBay recently actually...

and to your statement i put in bold compared to the paragraph you typed above is completely a double standard..replicas that perform the same wouldnt be there if there wasnt a company they couldnt copy..

Just gonna say 1 thing about the doing it first, and the copiers etc etc.

So Honda > Mugen then right? Mugen didn't make the cars.

'made them better' .. just like a replica part can work better.

but i don't apply to all the hype. i just want my sol finished.

cop comes in flashlight in hand for some reason, its not dark outside wtf
apparently when i came in the front door it set off the alarm which i thought was off when i walked throught the door because there was no beeping. Then after the cops showed up i called the alarm company and she told me she was listening to what i was doing throught the microphone in the alarm panel and through the microphones in the shop. kinda creepy.

At first when he walked in i thought my mom had done something illegal in her sol that she had just dropped off to me to use since mine is broke

I did them myself.

G35 bi-xenon projectors, and ebay one-piecers, then I painted the housing flat black.
