Thank you Charles
I knew I was close lol. All the rest is on point though

I think you just need to re-bend the tabs within the cig. lighter. Sounds like the lighter is grounding out against a piece of metal either on the unit or around it.

That will get you nowhere. You need to get a timing gun if you plan to do this type of work.
Are both your cam gears lined up evenly when rotating the crank to TDC? At that same point, does the crankshaft and the arrow point on the block meet up as well? Those need to line up to achieve TDC.
How tight is your timing belt?
Are your valves adjusted properly?
Is there gas in the tank?
How are you determining that gas and/or spark is present?

im not sure about all that..i had my motor put together by someone so i wouldnt have to worry about any of that ****.
there is gas in the tank and my fuel rail/pressure regulator shows theres enough gas and i checked the spark with the good old screw driver method. i guess im will jsut have to talk to the guy that put my motor together and check my timing

I will agree with you on that note. D-Series turbo Civics are not to be fucked with. I'd love to own one as a weekend toy.
BUT, I never said I had a D-Series turbo...I said N/A! OoOOOoH!
