What type of ems are you running? Is it throwing a code. Have you checked the Dizzy?

 

So I have a bit of a dillema/problem I need some help with. I got my JDM B18C-R 98 Sepc from Hmotors. The car is at the shop with everything installed and they can't seem to get it running. They tried different distributors, jumper harness, hondata ecu along with another one, they swapped injectors and no luck. What happens is the car starts but just keeps bogging and bogging. They had it idling for like a minute and it just died and it keeps happening. So at this point next they are going to do a leakdown test on the motor to make sure the motor is good which I hope it is. So anybody have any ideas?

just put in that flywheel and clutch and energy mount inserts.. i love it

this thread is turning to ****, heres a pic to keep it alive...this pic was taken and few months back and since then, the car has been takin off the road and will hopefully be back on the road by the middle to end of august

Stock, i've bought a used dizzy on HT and it didn't work either

have you checked you engine timing? also get a volmeter and check the coil and see if its good.

 

Coil is fine, not sure about the ignitor.

Havent checked the timing yet, but would that be the problem?
