i'll be damned if a FWD car on the street is going to beat me on a GSXR 600.
i SPANKED a late model Camaro SS on the bottle with my 2004 GSXR-600. traction has got to be horrendous.
but i'd love to see a 600+whp DA

sorry bike rider?
i dunno...i have NEVER lost to a car on my Gixxer. and i've raced quite a few cars. the only time i really struggled was against a Porsche 911 Turbo on the freeway. i didn't downshift enough and he pulled on me pretty good up to 140 or so and i stopped there. i later killed him from a stop though.

Okay guys, I need some help.
I went to go start my car today, and it just cranks without starting. This has happened before and usually I just have to jump it and its fine.
I've tried to get 2 seperate people to jump the car and no luck. We've also tried popping the clutch and it wont turn on. It'll crank and my lights and radio work, but it just want start. It sounds like it wants too but just can't catch.
Any ideas?

you can't pop the clutch either???
hmmmmm, sounds fuel related. you don't have a kill switch or fuel cutoff anywhere do you?
jumping it won't work...if the battery was dead it wouldn't even crank.

Nope, no kill switches.
I did have the fuel pump replaced a few months ago, but the mechanic seemed sketch, he told me he had to drop the tank in order to replace the pump (i didnt know any better back then) I know all you need to do is remove the seats and pop out the cover.
Some random dude that said he worked on Hondas next door to me said its the battery, despite the fact that the radio works and stuff.

and dropped the gas tank to change the pump???
how about the fuel filter?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yeah I didn't understand that either.
I believe I had the fuel filter changed as well, but is there anyway I can check by myself?

try popping one of the fuel injectors off the intake manifold and see if they have any traces of gas. they should be somewhat wet after trying to crank the car over.

yeah, they were big back in the DA's and EF's
ECU is another option too.
is your ECU throwing any codes?
i replaced a main relay on my old EF sedan, and it turned out to be the ECU.

Search G2IC.
It's located under the driver's side kick panel in the skeleton of the dash.

he still won't be able to tell if its bad or not by looking at it tho. i say check your ECU for codes first and foremost.

If he sees corroded points or broken solder he can tell it's bad.
