it looks alright, i may end up getting the golden eagle one, for brake booster clearance... not sure though... its an extra $350 over the victor x

nah man....i tried searching for them but no luck!!! they are the SSR RS8 Watanabes. ANd i asked my homie Mas from takumiproject and we were there trying all sorts of watanabe caps

This phenomenon transcends more than just honda-Tech. I see the same pattern at the G2 Integra specific forums as well.

Ever try hitting up RRR in Gardena? You probably have, but I've seen a few sets of both the 1 piece and 2 piece Watanabes sold there. They might be able to track down some centercaps

 

already talked to Mike at RRR... so as of yet no luck!!!

BUt mas and kiyo are authorized dealers of watanabe rims at takumiproject

I know what he means. I see it too, but it's not like I'm OG or anything. I'm only 21, but I saw things changing a couple months after I got rid of mine. I understand how it is. It seems all of a sudden every wanted a DA, you'd see ricers jumping on DA's in the streets, all of a sudden they start being talked about on HT more too, like mainstream. It used to be that some considered the DA along w/ the 88-91(or whatever) Prelude to be the blacksheep of Honda "tuner" family. G2IC's changed too in that time, still cooler and more tight-knit that HT, but you can see the change.

i got pulled over about 30 miinutes after i put my bastard straight pipe on. my wheels are BBS RS btw for those who were wondering. i only have centercaps on one side.

EXACTLY.

So now, at a time when DAs are a dying breed and parts are becoming scarce, 16-18 year olds are buying up DAs. This crowd just wants a "cool" car, so they start hacking up skirts and lips from other chassis and slap them on their DAs that are 2" off the ground. The DA would usually get passed over by this crowd for an EF/EG/DC/EK, but for some reason the DA has made it to this realm.....and HEEEEEEERE COME THE CHEAP FAKE PARTS FOR THE DA!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not trying to hate on anyone. It's just what's happening.
