jdm J1 has same ratio's as jdm S1, both came in integra xsi's. the jdm y1 came in SIR's and have a 4.266 final. the gsr/xsi YS1 has shorter 1st and 2nd gears than the jdm s1/j1... but the s1/j1 has a shorter 4th and 5th. the jdm Y1 has incredibly short 1st 2nd and 3rd, but again... 4.266 final kind of kills it.

the LS came with all sorts of tranny codes, S1, A1, YS1 are here in the states. i dont know about in other countries.

I know what you mean. YS1 going 75 is like 3500RPM.

well..guys. sold both of my DAs today. picked up a fresh 00' 4runner. baby on the way and i guess it's time for me to retire from the honda scene. i'll still drop by once in a while and check the updates.

haha yes!! a good friend of mine now owns the car.. and he was down there for the weekend. good eye!! and thanks for the props!!
