Have a question hope you guys could help me out with. Last week had my Raxles put in and a few days later noticed some noise coming from the front left wheel. Went to my mechanic today and he went crazy trying to figure out what it was. Took the front tires off at least 3 or 4 times messing around with something and after every test drive same freaking noise.

It doesn't sound like your typical axle clicking noise so it can't be the axles since they are brand new. It sounds like something is rattling instead. Anyway I'm driving around like this now going crazy trying to diagnose it. Anyone have any ideas?

 

have you replaced your wheel bearings? if he had to beat on the axels to get them out he may have ruined your bearing on one or both sides.



oh man ive been missing my car soooo much! there are no nice hondas out here in utah except this one midori green ek hatch slammed with ctr full lip. any time i see a da out here it is either stock and beat or rice and beat. my wallpaper on my phone is this pic and it makes me cry that my car is 2100 miles away sitting on a farm in dirty jerz! she was running soooo good too when i parked her! i cant wait to one day paint her! i actually dont think me and my wife are going to work out because she is out being a ***** so im prolly going to be moving out here for good next summer. but i want to get together with all of you guys when i come back east for my car. prolly just going to fly back in june and do the upper a-arms, and change all my fluids and then drive it back here. did you guys have something in the works as far as a meet? if not ide like to get something together if you guys are interested.

Yet again im coming to all you HT DA gurus for some much needed assistance on a very aggrivating problem I am encountering. For the past month my basically stock 1990 has been having a serious power hesitation that almost feels as if the brake is holding it back, as well as a intermittent CEL that does throw/store any code. Ive checked the ECM jumped and with the engine still running after the CEL is thrown as well as the standard way. With the engine off-key on position I get "1" single flash signaling the ecm is working and that is it.

As for the power loss I have replaced the plugs, wires, fuel filter, cap rotor and re did the braking system so I'm stumped and would really appreciate some input.

 

yeah these wheels have been in storage for 9 of there 11 years of life. they are mint!

have you recently bled your cooling system? i was having problems with my car hesitating with my old LS and i had to bleed the crap out of it to get it to run correctly. make sure your fans are kicking on and and its not overheating if left at idle. also clogged cat may cause it too if its jammed up and cant flow right. idk check them to rule them out. also if you can get your hands on another ecu that will rule it out. they are a dime a dozen at junk yards

 

if you guys have something int he works already then i will plan accordingly but if not there is a huge lot behind my parents house in pa that is easy access and never has anybody in it. it would be perfect and its right off of the highway too. i can also cook up some food at my parents and bring it over to the spot. if there is less then ten people then we can just have it at my parents house. just outside philly. keep me posted if this sounds like an option or if there was already something in the works.

 

Does anyone know if you can still buy new gas lines that run from the firewall to filter and then to the fuel rail? Also looking for mint black rs door panels.

 

i tried when both of my lines were split and they stopped making them. i got lucky and found a da in the junkyard that had new looking lines

 

Mine are fine I just wanted new ones because I replaced a lot of crap in my bay. I'm about to send payment for a new mc. How is it out in Utah? That's where you moved to right?

 

im doing good. utah is boring at night cause im pretty broke but ive gotten to snowboard every day for the past 3 weeks. even when im working i get about 5-7 ride breaks a day so im doing good in that sense. i was kinda depressed about the old lady cause she pretty much told me shes partying and she got with some dude even after 8 years but ive been talking to some chick out here so now im doing fine now. as long as i keep shredding im good! i just miss my car and want to drive it on these sick *** mountain roads here sooooo bad. you going to be driving the da back home? oh and you want to hold onto those door panels for me? the fabric on mine are peeling. i was going to redo them unless you want to sell me yours.

Started to realize I'm getting close to finishing my DA. As for mechanical stuff I'm almost done my parts gathering. Now I'm moving on to exterior cosmetics.

If anyone knows of or seen these parts please help a brother out! All for a 3dr.

JDM side markers (non smoked)
JDM one piece headlight (got to check but I think it's only the passenger side thats scratched badly)
