it does work well, and on some cars looks pretty good!!

Bah, don't get me wrong, I understand completely where it came from. I guess no one caught my sarcasm.

Indeed it does help with engine bay temps, as well as looks very fashionable on some cars.

Myself, I think it looks good on our cars, and had thought about doing it. But with a bum foot (surgery), and no time between work and school, alas I don't get to put any time into my car.

I do need to put aside a few hours for her though. I need to replace the clutch (OEM with 57,3XX miles) as she chatters and makes audible noise when engaging the clutch to the face of the flywheel before she's warmed up. Plus I am going to replace the rotors, pads and fluid.

It was just a little sarcasm, sorry to hurt anyone's feelings. I just always here it referenced as such and was poking fun. LOL! Especially since now it's being called the "NorCal Hood Slant." Gotta love it.

I am one of last people here on HT to say something is not "cool." To each their own. I build my car for me, just like you build yours for you. Who are we to judge?

Now start talking nonsense, or don't pay attention to something, that's when I jump in.

Anyways, good luck with the project. While were talking about the hood slant, I was thinking to adjust the hood latch mechanism up a little to prevent the hood from rubbing on the center of the bumper. Just something you might want to put into consideration.

Also, instead of just leaving the washers, or spacers bare (silver), why not:
A.) Put black shrink wrap around them.
B.) Wrap electrical tape around them.
C.) Put black tubing around them.
or
D.) Paint them flat black.

Otherwise they will stick out like a sore thumb.
