Yea. I took them apart to clean the inside and decided why not paint them and remove the fogs glare guards why i'm at it. Why, is it bad to use compound on the inside or something?

 

i tried that it wouldnt fire the injectors. my buddy who came to help me figure out what was going wrong told me that the dizzy was a possibility be that its obd2. could be looking for the crank pos sensor but since that doesnt exist in obd1, it might be the reason. when i put the ls dizzy on it fired right up.

thanks im going to do it when i get some time to do it. im happy to be working again but i cant find much time to work on the car so its whatever.

I have a 91 4 door LS and am swapping out the b18a1 with a b16a i cut some wires i shouldn't have from my dash harness. Is there any way to remove the pins from the connectors remember these are the white plastic obd0 connectors. Is there a special tool i need to get the darn pin out from the connector and then to install new pins on the wires to re-install into the connector. Can somebody help me? thanks. Mike
