DA Integra's Only
That's incorrect. The only additional information a dyno gives you is whp and tq numbers. With the right equipment (a/f ratio monitor and datalogging being the biggies), you can drive around on a street tune for years. While that might not maximize the power gain from all of your upgrades, it will insure that your car runs as it should. In fact, you might even say that a dyno would be less desirable because a fan blow on the front of your car isn't exactly simulating real world conditions. Now that's being a little ridiculous, but you get my point. I would agree with you completely if you meant a base map, which isn't the same thing as a street tune.
I mean after all a tune if to make the car run better but it is also for most, to make more power.
Tough to see if this correction or that correction makes added power performing a street tune. I mean unless your using G-Tech (
LoL that's a joke btw.)Aside from all the semantics, its just easier and safer to tune on the Dyno. But like I said, its my .02 worth.
But what do I know, i can't even tune a piano!
street tuning:

The loading on the street is slightly better than a dyno for a real world situation, but I would prefer not to risk my life in a high speed street tuning session. Also, you can NOT do accurate ignition timing judgment on the street.

Nice DA and welcome. Get some Silver or Bronze Volk RE30s in 15x7 or 16x7 within a +25 offset range and any suspension will be good for lowering. If you want the best of the best get some Koni 2812s with Tein pillow-ball tophats all around and Vogtland or Hyperco springs 6" length 2.25" diameter with 600lb front and 800lb rear spring rates. This set-up will run you about $7,000..
pretty sure they're different somehow, but dont quote me on that... but i do know when you ask for them at an auto parts store they do ask if the car is auto or manual. but they also ask if you have abs or not and that doesnt even matter anymore as most manufacturing them all with abs sensors anymore but still sell them differently for some dumb reason

That's interesting because I made the mistake of getting automatic axles and they did not fit...the driver side was too long...this is usually the reason they ask if it is manual or automatic...i may be mistaken but I am sure this has happened to me
Why would the driver side be to long if it was a automatic trans axle? That doesn't make any sense. I could see if it was the passenger side that goes directly into the trans being different
