yeah there's a few factors on the hood prop deal. 1. depends on whose mount kit you use. some place the engine higher, some lower. 2. the intake manifold is the biggest clearance issue on them i believe. im not 100% sure, but i think the skunk2 manifold sits lower

yes the sk2 sits lower i have it on my lsv and it sitts low but with an aem fuel rail and aem reg u cant use a strut bar tho
i was talking about on the h22. their stock manifolds sit pretty tall once swapped into other cars.
but sucks you cant run a strut bar after using a dif. rail and regulator. speaking of the aem regulator, have you had any troubles with yours? i've read a lot that they are junk

I don't view the point of a jdp lip for anything. You were saying maybe his car is low so he wouldn't want to mess up a $260 lip. So, it would be ok to mess up a lip that was like 150? Regardless, if he's low there's a chance of damaging the lip. That's why I said, "Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the lip?" My original point was that the JDP OE style lips look best, but of course that is my opinion.
I'm in it for $165. Thats with paint and fittings included. I like the style of the mugen cover, but I could careless about the "Mugen" part. Hence why it's shaved off
