man my peak boost mani is cracked, AGAIN! good thing it has a lifetime warranty, so my car will be down again until it comes in.

also, I want to build the bottom end in my jdm gsr, what all will I need for the block? what do you guys think I should go with pistons/rods wise?

Dang that stinks Ive had my neukin ramhorn forever and bought it used never had an issue...

I would go with either cp/je/wesico along those lines and some eagle rods...thats just a quick idea..your power goals would be a good help

If anyone is interested I have 3 Je 84mm pistons I have the 4th but it has detnation marks on it..im selling for $150 for 3..and you could buy the 4th and have a set of je's for a good price...pm me if interested

I was thinking wiseco, thats what I had in my ls-vtec, with eagle rods. I know I would need piston rings, anything else? how much is it to sleeve a block?

Well since you making like 300 now I'd assume you want to make about 500 or so....
Send the block out somewhere like AEBS, go 84mm, throw some CP 10:1's on Turbo Tuff rods.
Then redo the head to match, Pro 1's, matching VT, Victor X mani and 70mm TB. That will roll!

MIR was a blast today, I must say I was super excited to see such a great turn out for people supporting the sport again.

Big props to the All motor cars, NAH2B went 10.35!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The turbo cars are cracking into the 8's and a lot of the domestic cars were running 7.xx's around 180+.

Also met up with Andy, great guy!

IMO turbo tuff rods are kinda pricey matt...My friend craig and couple other friends have made 655whp and higher on eagle h beams drive and race all the time and never broke a rod lol.. theres like a $400 price difference

yea I think between 400-500 hp would be good, do you think I need to have a sleeved block for that hp goal? I know it would be more reliable so I might have to get it done.

You def don't need a sleeved block to make that power anymore.
As for the reliable part, that's up in the air. I'd say if you worried about it just get it sleeved then.

And JJ you are right turbo tuff rods are pricey, I was just throwing out a great build. Im running H beams in my motor!

def. was a great day and i must say, the best weather i've seen for that event yet. usually as soon as the sun goes down its ice cold out, but last night was not bad at all.

and damn, that clutch masters chick can f'n drive! she won her class over all. i will try to throw some pics and possibly some vids up later, but they're nothing special, just a simple $100 digital cam. i'm no photographer lol

How much do JDM clusters run for now?

I got my USDM GSR cluster off ebay about 4 years ago for like $150.

yep, sure is! and only because of the speedo cable. but i found that if you unplug it from the tranny and push it back in through the fire wall and then plug it into the cluster, then put the cluster back in place (also pushing the cable back out the fire wall) it seems to be a bit easier
