I wish i would have spent the extra money and waited to get a gsr instead of a b16. I don't like ls/vtec because of its reliablity but if you trust your engine builder to do it right then by all means, old *** motor, newer head and higher rpms sounds like a reciepe for disaster.</TD></TR></TABLE>
wait a minute? didnt we argue about this when u first got that swapped in????

and i wouldnt worry about the cylinder head when it comes to LSVTEC. the head is made for the rpms and abuse. its the block that needs extra attention. and by that all i mean is ARP rod bolts.

my DA story for today:

todays the first snow in MD. i got off work an hour early. im driving and i notice the idle is hopping. its never done that before. Next i notice the heat doesn't work and the car is at operating temperature. Then i notice its overheating. i pulled over to let it cool down and i checked some **** out. noticed the radiator was cold. i was out of coolant. so i drive to the closest gas station and put coolant in there. it immediately started leaking from the hose that connect the upper front water neck to the IACV. then it all made sense. i got it to an AutoZone and got the hose off and bought a new one. replaced it in the snow with their tools and drove it home. idles fine, heat works good, and the car runs normal temp. im happy now, but man was i pissed!

Maybe thats my problem..

I replaced my speedo cable a few weeks ago, and ever since then, I have a small leak of coolant.

If i'm driving, i'll sometimes see steam coming from under my hood with little drops of coolant dripping behind my Intake Mani.

It drains my coolant reseivor fast... Where is this tube exactly? Maybe thats why my heat isnt blowing really hard too.

Can you take the Thule racks on and off without to much drama? I don't want it on at the track.

I'd say da's are the worst cars to deal with when it comes to the tar. They lay it down on top of everything and get it into some hard to reach corners. Then when it mixes with the seam sealer, those spots are fun.
