Has anyone had to put a blower motor in their DA? I've heard its quite the pain in the butt because you have to take the whole assembly apart just so you can drop the motor out.
I honestly haven't looked at it but dont think its that tight down there that I cant just drop the motor.

 

im really not sure yet. i haven't gotten that far yet. i dont even know if im gonna keep this one. its not what i want and i'm sure i'd get too bored with it too fast. its a super 60 off a turbo thunderbird....i want at least a 62-1...you compare lol

That should be fine, I mean this turbo I have is only a 60-1 and Im gonna put the S cover on it, so the cold side will be .70 AR instead of .63.

Arg thats what I was dreading, I dont want to do this blower motor but it sure is cold in the winter lol!

 

yeah sounds like you'll be set pretty decent for the turbo.

and yeah, it def. does get cold in winter around here lol. do work son!

oh, do you need another blower by the way? i think i have an extra one....

i'll double check tomorrow to make sure i do and try to make sure it still works...not sure how to bench test it though

 

hi, im new here just got my DA yesterday. I got a question , I'm looking to put the moldings with the red stripe going across it , all around. is it the molding that comes like that or is it something you add to it?? im in LA , so if you guys know where to get it and can tell me, that would really help me out alot. thanks in advanced.

 

Red pin stripe tape from your local autozone or kragen.

 

So, I go to my DA and try to drive it after not touching it for like a week and the battery was dead (brand new autozone yellow battery). Had to get a jump and still can't figure out why it was dead as nothing was on in the car. I guess it's telling me I better drive it or it will die!

 

How new was the Battery? hmm maybe it just can't hold a charge. I had an Optima Yellow top in my car, left it sitting for a year last year got in and it started up. But eventually wouldnt hold a charge and was replaced.
