Re: DA Integra's Only
You guys are so damn lucky to have a GARAGE in the 1st place. I'm trying to save up for a place when I move in September to have a garage for my DA since I won't be driving it anymore. I will be riding a bicycle everywhere since school will only be a few miles away.

Re: DA Integra's Only
Ok, so I've searched h-t, g2ic, and I think carolinahondas for info on installing the shift linkage bushings or whatever. I think thats what I need, because when it's in gear, it has a ton of play. I read on here that that was the reason it moved so much. Is that right, or was it called something else.
And any of you know where I can find text on the install? Or what I can search? I've looked for shift linkage, shift play, transmission bushings. I don't know where else to go. Thanks.

Re: DA Integra's Only
Well, I never was too into the whole motor thing. I'm a body man, I grew up in a body shop and never messed with any of it. But now I want to do everything I can myself. What would be the easiest way to get to it?

Re: DA Integra's Only
So, I should still change the bushings? And should I just get the whole shift linkage?

Re: DA Integra's Only
never a bad idea to change the bushings. it does feel more precise going in gear, but it doesnt take care of the slop. to get rid of the slop, yes, you'll need a whole new linkage (or just the half that has the universal joint on it)

Re: DA Integra's Only
Man you keep asking the same questions....I said 2 pages ago to go get new shift linkage from the dealer...You only need the one and its $60 and get new energy bushings...The shifter is going to be super tight then trust me
Jack the car up, pop the bitch pin out on the tranny side, then there are 2 bolts that hold it to the car, take the shift **** off pull it down threw...pull linkage out new bushing and put it back in, really simple

Re: DA Integra's Only
Like I said before, I know squat about transmissions, and some motor stuff. I've never seen a tranny outside of an engine bay. No opportunities. It may be easy as pie for someone who has seen/done/known someone who has done it. But that's why I'm here. I read the part of what I need. Just didnt see HOW to put it on. All I was askin'.

Re: DA Integra's Only
That Da does look good. Imo it would look alot better if it had a paintmatched hood, roof and hatch. It would be nice to have a Da meet in Pa but there aren't to many of them around and no one never tries to set anything up
