Re: DA Integra's Only
Thank you all for the positive feed back. My Teg has come a long way. I remember getting bashed terribly by Brice Hayden when I had a "Type R" lip and painted yellow fogs lol. I love DA's and I'll have many more changes to come. Too bad I can't join the DA squad, my wheels are 17" : P. Once again, thank you!

Re: DA Integra's Only
yeah i tried to fight that rule already for other people cuz some cars look good with 17's, yours being a perfect example of that. but will was gay through a lil bitch fit about it. what i find funny though, is that if you look on the first page, a few people are clearly rockin 17's in their squad picture!

Car is alive again.
Its still running kinda hot. Something must be up with fan switch or ect sensor!
Buddy of mine is gonna look at it and make it better!
I need a wideband asap because start up is a bitch and I dont want to blindly take out fuel. Pro 1's FTW

NGK AFX Wideband, if I can find a cheap used one.
F'ing car is still overheating, I think the Thermostat is not opening all the way. I have had terrible luck with this and my buddy is convinced it is because I don't use OEM thermostats. Changing it out today if there is time to see.
If not it HAS to be the waterpump. My buddy said he has had a lot of Jeeps come through with this problem where the blade actually seperates from the unit and does not flow enough causing overheating.
We shall see

Re: DA Integra's Only
that's a jeep waterpump though.
Did you bleed the cooling system properly? How's the coolant flow through the radiator? Possible causes could be a restricted radiator, Cheapo thermostat, or else your fan doesnt work.??

This is not my first dance so yes, I also had my friend Jason who is a Honda tech helping me out with everything.
Cheapo Thermostat sounds like the winner here!
Yes and No, Head Gasket blew a while back however really didnt exhibit any real signs of a blown head gasket. So I wasnt sure, struggled with that for a while. It did end up warping the head slightly so it would overheat from time to time.
This does seem to just be a thermo stat again!

Re: DA Integra's Only
hey matt, as weird as it sounds, my black DA had similar problems. Come to find out, one of my grounds was loose which for some reason was making my car run hot or at least the needle on the cluster said so. went over all my grounds, tightened everything and never had the problem again. I mean, its worth a shot instead of going through the hassle of pullin out the thermostat over and over.

Well in this case its not a ground
The lower rad hose was only luke warm after like 30 minutes of driving today.
Def something up with the Thermo, getting an OEM Honda one asap!

I noticed that there were some 17's in those pics too lol. It's cool, I personally feel that if a DA is cleanly built, or just plain looks sick, it should be worthy to be in the squad. After all we all love these body styles; so why discriminate over wheel size? Can't win them all, oh well.

Re: DA Integra's Only
thought i'd post up my integra for the first time.
bought it stock (except for 17's and cut springs) like this for 16 hundred
got rid of the 17's, threw on steelies with tokico blues and skunk 2 coilovers, added sidemarkers, c-pillar bar, yellow foglight capsules, 92-93 tail lights, honda emblems on the trunk (need hood emblem), amber bumper lights, and deleted the rear window wiper and antenna. cant remember if i've done anything else to it. but it ended up looking like this
got tired of the steelies and traded a mr header for gsr fat fives. and this is how she sits now.
hope you guys like it!
sorry for ginormous pictaarrz.
always appreciative of constructive criticism.
