Plugs. I would just get the holes shaved for the really clean look though.

what plugs? i would shave and clean but i really don't want to paint the hatch and i really hate the spoiler look on my car

u can get little black plugs at home depot or u can use the little black plugs u find in your engine bay

i welded my holes up

 

I'm too scared to do that to my car

 

lol its not that hard, i just cut out some little circles of sheet metal and filled/welded the holes up, very solid and nothing warped
