its quick but its annoying
i just changed it now, i hope it doesn't over cool now....now i just have to find the coolant leak that is coming from somewhere from small hose i can't pin point
. Will a higher pressure cap make it overcool also? i have a 127kPa(1.3kgf/cm2) radiator cap....

Sad how you make people from PA sound stupid.
I just hate on ugly DAs with shitty parts and MattyG2's car cause all he does is track the car and i'm jealous. Too bad I sold my DA and I'm working on my other cars at the moment.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Yes it is kinda annoying. "Coolant leak from some small hose" is probably your heater hose. Its that hose that runs from under the dizzy area to back by the fire wall.
I doubt a high pressure cap would make it overcool. The reason your motor was running so cold was that the Tstat was stuck open, so it was basically like you were not running a thermostat at all which would cause the motor to never get hot.

i changed all the heater hoses and all other hoses except the small ones, so i don't know where the leak could be coming from. I had the car on a shop rack and still didn't find anything so im just confused at the moment

Engines need to be a full operating temp no matter what to run efficiently, the thermostat keeps the cars temp right all the time if it's working right, other wise it would say run a thermostat to keep engine cooler in hotter weather, but that's not the case.
And wtf@brice selling his DA. another build up DA and sell it type thing huh?

Thats a shame man, hopefully you will at least get it back in some condition.
I try to keep my car mine. I have an alarm, quick release, autolock and I block it in with my CL every night.

no I've owned my DA since 2003. 5 years was long enough. I have things i want to do to my DB and RSX. And my wife and I wanted a different 3rd car. I had my fun with the DA and it went to someone who really enjoys it. I did everything to that car and did almost all of it myself. I regret nothing. hope you can say the same when you car is gone.
