Hey what's up BNB? : ) Does anyone know here in Cali if purchasing a car out of state requires anything out of the ordinary to get the car registered with DMV...like does it have to get ref'd

 

if its a clean title should be the same as buying a car in state, all proper paper work and passing california smog and you should be good, if its salvage title might be a different story though

 

yes it's a clean title..I ask because of different laws from state to state...us being Cali had to be the toughest state emission law. but I bypass that know anyway ; )

Body is J spec with the exception of no right hand drive conversion...B20B...roll cage....Spoon N1 exhaust....Corbeau driver seat with 5 point harness..it will come with different wheels...disc brakes all around... my plans for him/her ( I haven't decided if it will be a boy or girl yet, lol) vtec head...stage 1 clutch not sure if i should go with CC or Exedy or ACT. Could possibly upgrade camshafts to stage 1 or 2. I might put some tint on rear and quarter panel windows so that roll cage is less obvious from po-po. (Turbo could be somewhere in the future)

ive already swapped it with 3 different sensor's and still have the same problem.....makes a LOT of sense though...this may be the last piece to my HORRIBLE cold start issue...

im getting pumped thinking about the track, after i get that figured out im going....no interior, 2 new nitto's up front with 24psi in them, 1/2 tank of gas and a THICK *** jacket/blanket...hoping for low 14's HIGH 13's.....its all gonna depend on if i can cross the line in 3rd :/...kinda doubt it lol

well last week it was 85, now it's in the 30's, I need to swap this dash, and paint a bunch of small stuff to go with the dash, and thats about impossible in this weather, just too hard to work with plastic

big plans? i guess you could say that lol. i'm aiming for at least 400whp n shooting for 10s (long term goal). should be fun to say the least, but i can and has been done.

and yeah, i have seen nothing bad about greg n go-autoworks. i plan to order some more stuff from him as well over the next couple months or so.

well bad news guys....I woke up this morning only to find that all my hard work was stolen from my driveway F@#@#### rat bastards!!! all i can do now is wait and see if the popo will find my ride. Not how i was planning on ending the year with.

well i normally park my car in our car port and then my wifes car behind mine,but last night i parked it the opposite way because she wasn't going to work. All I had was a fuel kill switch but apparently they found it. Either way security is irrelevant if they want your car they will get it. Yea security helps for self comfort and piece of mind. anyway i'm just bummed out ,you'd think they would of rather had my neighbors benz or bimmers , but NOOOOOOO they took my baby

 

Thats because your car is alot easier to steal than luxury cars, and no, security is not just for piece of mind, because if you would have had a 2 way paging alarm with back up battery and hidden siren, you probably would have heard it or been alerted in time to run outside, and that alarm would have come with ignition kill as well

 

could of,should of, but i didn't oh well onto the next build.
