ps. i think it's funny how you guys are complaining about hx's being 14s...i'd love them in 16s or 17s. or why did honda put 4x114.3 lug patterns on the cd5? i wanna run new school civic rims or 8th gen accord rims

This is a small project I'm installing while I'm doing the electrical work, this is the SDC heads up L.E.D. voltage monitor. I'm going to probably pull the alternator warning bulb, remove the red filter from behind the icon, and install the L.E.D. from this in it's place. This gives you an instant status of your electrical system, it's a tri color LED. when the system voltage is normal, 12-15 volts DC it's a steady green, 11-12 volts, it's amber for caution, 10-11 volts DC, it's red for warning, when it encounters abnormal voltage, over 15 volts, the LED flashes green, when below 10 volts it flashes red. the system also cycles through the colors on start up to do a self diagnostic
under a non flashing state, the LED dims after a short period of time, to prevent glare at night. when it encounters a high or low voltage situation, it goes to full brightness. This is much better then the simple idiot light, which really tells you nothing. All it does is come on when the alternator quits, no warning, no indication of whats going on, no indication of high voltage. No advance warning of a problem, I have a voltmeter, but sometimes it's hard to notice a problem if you aren't watching it. I have a number of items that can be damaged by high voltage, including my fuel pump, my ignition box, and my Odyssey battery, . Not to mention it could damage other onboard electronics, or factory modules.

they space the wheels out too much and there is no decent company that makes 4x114.3 to 5x114.3...only ebay ish. i can do a 5 lug swap but thats like $400+
that's cool! i like that!

I wish that manufacturers would install something like this standard, but with most of the brain dead idiots on the road today, it could scream your battery is on fire!! and no one would pay any attention, too busy texting. I like having something like this right at eye level in the existing icons. too hard to overlook> searched over voltage products for weeks before I found it, Even aircraft over voltage warning lights, and none of them do this, it's originally designed for a bike, but works on any 12 volt system.

you just hook it to switched ignition voltage and ground, thats it, like a volt meter, I was going to remove the existing bulb in the cluster, take out the red insert, and leave the clear battery icon over it. just drill a 1/4 hole in the back of the plastic box where the bulb is
ha swap? i'm already swapped... compared to stock. i'd love to order a jdm front, but if i had 1200 bux to spend on my car i'd put it into a NICE set of coilovers and new bushings all around first. i'm stickin with my d series for now unless i come across a killer deal on a b series swap that comes with ef mounts and linkage.
finally finished and replaced my engine harness... now to be up in six hours to go to work. yee

That's why getting whole front clip would be easy for you, it has everything for the swap
I dunno seemed like u was going for the sir look with the red pinstripe. ..

One of my favs especially in black
