I did polish the letters, What I did was take out the factory valve cover studs, cut off the threaded part that sticks up through the valve cover, then drilled and tapped them for internal threads, the valve cover is held on with Allen head socket screws now, after I did that i made the big piece that fits in the recess of the valve cover, this hides the mounting screws, It also gives me a mounting point for my throttle cable and choke cable, as well as the clutch cable. I had the chance to get to use someones CNC machine, so I made the oil filler cap, normally everything I do is on old worn out manual machines, I also had to flycut a recess in the bolt cover to clear the cap, after that I made the spark plug wire holders and loom, painted it flat black and sanded off the paint on the front
Good job with both cars, esp that sol, it looked hurt before u got your hands on it.
Wats good bnb.

sounds like a clogged or bad expansion valve, whats the low pressure side read? do the readings change with the compressor running?
Pretty weird day.
Was at work and my co worker came up to me and said "Hey there is some guys outside that wants to talk to you about your car."
So i went outside and sure enough there was two dudes. They started asking me about my car. What wheel spec was, suspension setup, etc. I dont know why but everyone seem to have the same look on their face when i tell them im not running camber kits. Then they kept telling me my car was clean and then asked me if i wanted to join their crew.. Then they gave me their numbers and said i ever decide to change my mind they have a sticker for me to put on.
Seem like some pretty cool guys but was weird at the same time being that i never seen them around before.

make sure they don't follow you, thats a common trick, there was also a group of thieves a while back who would find a car they liked, find out about it, and slap a satelite tracking tag on it, they used something like this but slightly smaller, completly self contained, all they had to do was look it up on google maps, and they came and stole your car at night, they were sticking them to the bottom of cars with strong magnets, seems like a lot of money, but when you are making the kind of money high end thieves make, it's pocket change, I mean who goes out and looks under their car before driving home, there was also the cheap way, buy a prepaid phone with gps tracking, stick it in a ziplock bag with a magnet, go home and locate your phone the same way

this is why when i'm at a show, I take off the plate and put on a vintage plate and keep the vin numbers covered, put it on and take it off a block away, also NEVER attend a show in your hometown

i didn't check the pressure when the compressor was off but the low pressure side said about 70 psi! i was gonna say fvck it and bring it to an a/c shop. but if it's something i can do i'd like to do it.
