im so amazed that i have easter off.. i normally work sunday but i got it off. might as well enjoy it while i can. What does everyone have plans this weekend?




So i went to go get some gas yesterday and holy ****, $4.21 for 87 regular... freaking ridiculous. I been contemplating between swapping to a B series or just boosting my D16z6.. after seeing the gas price i decided to swap to a B series, either LSV or gsr, then when gas price goes down ( hopefully it does ) i'll booost the B series since i have everything to boost a B already.

Been looking for a complete LS or Gsr, so far the few that i found is either too far or missing pieces.. Imma save up some money and just wait until a good deal pops up.. not really in a rush to swap or boost but i really wish i had that extra power..

I have a couple but most are of stuff most people have never heard of. most people who have stickers on their car don't really have the parts, so when someone sees stickers they assume this. they are also saying to the cops, pull me over and harass me.

anyone worked on datsun before? im tempted to pick up a 610 wagon for a daily.

i want something that people seem to enjoy and from what i've heard aren't to bad to work on, but also something i can get some what decent gas mileage compared to my lexus.

there's still a big aftermarket for those cars, build it all motor and clean and you will have a unique car

if i had the money and time i would. but most of my money and time will be going into the lexus once i get a daily.

 

i just wish i had though of this before i bought the moroso oil pan and clutch. I dont plan on selling my d16z6 though. going to keep it just in case. just gotta find a place to store it.

Hay everyone,sorry i haven't been on in so long. Been planing my trip down to San Jose to get my mom and bring her to Carson City. Ill be down there on the 30th on this month (NEXT WEEK) and heading back up the same day. Ill be dropping her off on the 12th next month,so all you bay peeps better keep a lookout for me..lol
Anyways,nothing new with the ride,moneys been tight like always. I was going to lower it and get some nice rims but i decided to stay stock cause i don't want to **** **** up again. I took my custom DVD screen out and put the stock consul in so i now have an ashtray again..lol

What fluid do you use?
Synchro is prob toast

 

Just did fluid change maybe 2 months ago castrol gtx 10-30

 

U should switch to honda mtf or GM synchromesh

No matter what don't use syynthetic oil

 

Gonna try adding some oil even though the car doesent have any leaks

 

Where are you filling it? See if your axle seals are dry

 

Tried adding oil it took less than a 1/4 of a quart so yea need to find a new tranny lol wonder how long it'll drive going 1st to 3rd

 

I have a quick question. Can I use a b16 shift linkage out of a del sol in my 95 civic coupe? Some people say del sol linkages are only for del sol's and wont work. I put a b20z motor with b16 tranny in the car. Thanks

 

Try honda mtf in the new tranny.
