BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
)
I've always liked that crx kit except for the way the hood comes down between the headlights. My buddy had the same kit on his awhile back. Both cars look great.
On the Civic with the J. Got the battery mounted in the trunk, ran 3in exhaust to Thrust weld, got all the coolant lines hooked up, and traded for some 17s. I'm going today and getting a front big brake kit, and hopefully finishing the damn wiring.

I'm aggravated, I finally got the civic alternator, got it on the bracket, actually wired the plug to the harness, installed the harness, and realized it was the wrong alternator plug

I ended up with a civic Obd 2 alternator, it's smaller, lighter, and puts out more amps, I'm using the 70 amp one right now, but later it's an easy switch to an SI 90 amp, I'm still going to do the backup, but run 2 civic ones. I'll use a simple single pole double throw relay to switch the fields, at the moment I have a gutted factor alternator with just the case, bearings and pulley, to act as an idler pulley for the water pump, I wanted to put the belt on to check the alignment, but after turning the house upside down, I just can't find the new one, hence my signature. it's possible it may have to move slightly away from the engine, which will require some machining on the ac bracket. I built the harness, mocked it up, hung the alternator, then discovered I was sent the wrong alternator plug. It never ends.

fail!

thats not rice, thats custom, people have been swapping parts from car to car since cars existed, if it was rice, it would have a badly fitting body kit,a fart can, and a big wing, that took a lot of work to do that. If every part was the right part on the right car, then everyone would be driving 100 percent stock cars

your last statement isnt exactly true tho.
an example is my old integra. "jdm" front is stock in japan, yet is a highly desired part in the states. by the standards in the USA its an aftermarket front end even though its a stock front end in japan, get my point?

Another example is my old car below. I didnt have a "badly fitting body kit, a fart can, and a big wing" yet i consider this rice, and it was my own car! lol
[QUOTE=DA9_All_Motor;45109550]yeah man it wasnt cheap i remeber when i brought the car home every one was telling me it was never going to be running and that it was a **** of **** and gave me a bunch a crap but thats why i gave it life and were only half way there theres still alot of hatters out there saying its ugly but i think its beautiful compared to how it was when i bought the shell
but to sell an SiR front for a 12pc black widow kit?! thats a hammer to the head really. i TOO loved that kit. but that front end looks like a giant bug.
