true, but i'd still have to get mounts, the mounts and the frame brackets on sir's are different from usdm civics. i do want a swap, but it's not top priority. my motor has not even 12k miles on it, i finally have my car running reliably now i want to get it riding great and looking great. i understand why ek owners swap, the y series motors imo are crap in an ek, y7's have horrible flowing heads and y8's are pretty much maxed out from the factory, and eg's... well the b7's are just gutless, the other two d15's are for gas mpg, but the z6 is nice. my hatch only weighs 2150 with full interior and aprox. three gallons of gas, my mini me is more than enough. plus i plan on boosting my car, which yes i'm going to rebuild my motor with rods and pistons, but how could i claim built not bought if i slapped a b series in there and called it a day? b series are a fanboy motor untill you actually put work in them, imo.
