BUILT NOT BOUGHT!
I ran a fully built b16 eg tonight with two car head start and lost by 3 Cars and also lost to a built single cam crx
Brayzie told me about this, figured i'd give it a shot.
didn't start out with a stock car, but instead i brought mine back from the dead.
It's an 88 civic std hatch, came factory with a ~70 hp 4spd d15b1 dpfi with gray/black pleather interior and ac.
when I got it she wasn't running, had a failed attempt of a mpfi swap done, couple different rattle can jobs, no front seats, black gsr cloth rear seats, nissan sentra wheels, egay coil overs that were slammed on blown stock shocks, and nasty "custom" interior that was sagging and gross, a cargo cover, and a legit ef9 cat back. I got it running, swapped in some no name 13" wheels and an si transmission and rapped it till i blew the tired d15, which ran on 3.5 cylinders and a clogged pick up tube.
it's easier for me just to type out a mod list vs what all i've done, so here it is:
Power Train:
-D16a6 block, z6 head aka "mini me". Rebuilt by me, new rings, bearings, the works
-Skunk2 intake manifold
-LS throttle body
-Eg throttle Cable
-Auto zone 3" short ram with a carbon fiber K&N cone filter
-Ebay header and test pipe
-Blox obx-r 2.5" mandrel bent piping to the rear axle, then i replaced the axle back with crush bent piping and an ebay N1 style 2.5" in 4" out burnt tip can. also have a magnaflow high flow cat, just not currently installed
-Stock fly wheel, stock clutch disc and an f1 racing "stage 1" pressure plate
-Custom built (by me) transmission using my si 1-4 gear set and final drive, and a crx hf case, 5th gear, diff and shifter forks since my si trans had a cracked shift fork and the diff was toast
-Electronic VSS
-Solid motor mount inserts
-Energy suspension shifter bushings
-Megan racing short shifter
-Aftermarket replacement radiator
-Ebay obd0-obd1 conversion harness
-Chipped p28 on Chrome Gold with a b16 base map for now to compensate for the bumped compression... comes with 4k rpm launch control and 7200 rpm shift light
Suspension/Brakes/Wheels:
-Maxspeed coil overs on stock shocks for now, rides amazing compared to the ebay crap
-Dx front sway bar
-Si rear sway bar
-Blox rear LCA's
-DA rear disc brake conversion with duralast pads/rotors
-Goodridge SS brake lines all around
-Stock front brakes/knuckles with new duralast pads for now
-40/40 prop valve
-00' civic ex brake booster and 15/16ths master cylinder
-15x6.5 Enki PKR's wrapped in 195/50-15 Khumo extacas
-New Duralast outer tie rods
Exterior:
-Replaced front and rear bumpers
-90 si hood with mpfi stickers
-LEBRA hood bra
-TYC replacement headlights
-6k HID's for the lows, sylvania silver stars for the highs

-Wagon clear bumper lenses with the amber lense removed using autzone "chameleon" bulbs, they look blue but glow a deep amber
-Knecht's special fogl ights in stock location
-OEM Stanley side markers
-Keyless rear door handles installed
-Painted my trim satin black and ran red pin striping in the groove all around the car
-Power Mirror swap
-OEM Mudflaps front and rear, the rears are actual 88-89 spec mudflaps
-Accord wagon front lip on the front bumper
-Replaced rear bumper filer

-DX gray door panels
-SI rear panels
-OEM rear speaker pods
-Power window swap using all oem parts from civics/integras
-DX steering column for the adjustable steering wheel height
-SI steering wheel with no flex
-DC2 gsr gauge cluster swap
-Converted cluster cover to the 90-91 style with working buttons
-Blue/gray front integra seats, i think they're from a db7? found them at the junk yard
-Replaced the headliner with a cleaner non destroyed one
-DA map light
-DC center console
-Trunk Light
-Intermittent wiper function added
-Replaced dash vents with minty black ones from a 91 si i parted out

-More wheels
-More stickers
-90-91 floor pan swap
-Install the matching set of integra seats I have

I think that's everything I've done to it... Literally the only things i kept after i bought the car, besides the shell and exterior panels, was the cargo cover, rear seats, the dash, the dome light, the tail lights and the piece of ply wood cut to fit as the spare tire cover. Everything i listed I installed, rebuilt, or replaced myself.
Here's some pix when i first bought it:

I like the cutout cover on the timing gear, I did something like that, but have a plexi glass cover, I'm thinking of painting it with the hypnotic swirl ,like what is used on jet aircraft turbines

Thanks bro, i've seen you rollin around, your coupe looks cleaaaaan!! haha those hx's look hella tiny tho for how low you are
Haha Thanks Heather nice to meet you too!
that'd be cool! I did the cut out for a couple reasons, one of which is to be prepared for an adjustable cam gear down the road when i get a cam of some sort. you shoud do the hypnotic swirl thing that'd be dope!
Thanks for all the comments on my ride guys i'll do my best to keep active in here

I still have to paint the other half of the plenum, and the brace, but it's mostly done. I also have to paint the aluminum hose clamp and put stainless bolts in it.
hose clamp

bracket welded on to existing cooler tray, and spacers I had to add for the relays
