startin in on the vc 2nite, got my gasket set over the weeknd

 

remember i told you my buddy got a set of E30 BBS`s?? well this is itt refinished in viper silver.

 

well im lost on what to do with the coupe, i got a trade offer for a 2002 kawasaki zx9r, miles are right around 17k, needs a rear tire, a rear peg and a new ignition switch (key busted in it). and it needs paint, its a flat orange or something like that. Also the guy lives 6 hours north of me.

On the other Hand i found a complete turbo setup minus the fuel management for hella cheap (comes with mani, intercooler, injectors, fuel pump, turbo, piping, bov, wastegate, dp) I mean the whole works, and its very very cheap.

I want to turbo the car, and make it fast, but on the same token i want a bike badly, but the guy that has the bike doesnt really treat his cars all that well and will probably wreck the car, and part it out, which would break my heart.

So what are your guys thoughts, keep and boost, or trade and ride?

 

I say keep you car and boost it. Sound like that bikes needs some work and who knows what else it might need besides what was posted.

i agree matt, if you know this guy treats his cars poorly, you'd have to assume that he treated the bike in the same manner.

help!!!! one mre time please!!!o.k so i am basically done with the swap...its a obd2 97 civic ex with a jdm 92-95 obd1 d15b, i used the y8 manifold,fuel rail,3 y8 injectors n 1 d15b injector,i used the 4 wire o2 sensor thats on the y8 exhaust manifold, and the y8 dizzy since i am waiting for the obd1 dizzy to come in on thursday, now the car turns on for a bit then surges and burns a whole bunch of gas i believe(blueish smoke) n then the rpms drop real low then turns off.... do u guys have any ideas to what it could b,is it the dizzy,the injectors or my timing is off or maybe even that o2 sensor i am using......please help i really need my car back badly thanks alot for the help
