Just started my second quarter of school today, so far my auto tech class is badass. By the end of the quarter ill know how to rebuild tranny's! It'll be helpful since I have a few tranny's sitting in my garage that need new syncros. Im also getting a bomb *** deal on some fresh gsr blades for $200. What a good day haha

Thats a really good deal on those blades man. Cant beat that with a stick.

 

Oh ill get some pictures as soon as their on my car. I met the kid in my auto tech class and he was showing me his gsr powered jdm type r front integra project on his iphone and i made a joke about buying his rims and hes like "ok...200 bucks". Fawkin sweeeet! Its hard to find blades around here for under 400 bucks, and thats with curbage and flaking finish around the lug holes. As soon as my check comes through the mail im buying those rims lol

a buddy of mine, his girl had a clean set of them with like-new Dunlops, I tried to talk her into a trade but she wouldnt do it, insisted on selling them to me for $300 which aint a bad deal but i just dont have that extra cash, otherwise i'd be buying 205/45's for the VSR's

 

I think my timing is off, it spuders at idle and I have to rev it up pretty high for it to move

 

found my car!!!! 97 ek coupe. going friday to get it. its at a ma and pa dealership. i called, but they won't be able to do any paper work until thursday or friday. so, i'm going up thursday. i want it. here's a pic of it.

 

what else have you checked? i had that happen to my supra and it was a combination of things but mostly my coil. (i also replaced my plugs cap and rotor and my alternator)

 

anyone interested in a nintendo wii? comes with a sledding game, one controller, no numchuck, the rubber grip thing, the sensor ect.... almost complete minus the numchuck you can buy on ebay for 6 bucks. pm me if interested. i will take $150, NO LESS! yes, i will ship it if need be too.

 

well just got home from work thought i would check in to the thread a lil bit jdmpr i would start by just adjusting your ignition timing a bit, if that makes the problem better/worse then it would be your timing is off, normally if the car still runs it can be off by 1 or 2 teeth but it will run like poopy. Let me know if you have any questions.

 

Yea $300$ not bad either. I remember when i bought my blades i got them for 250 with some bald *** but they were clean no curb rash. I had them for bout 3 months then i traded them for a set of 14 inch mugen cf-48's

 

It also takes longer then usual to start up if that helps any, ima get me some new plug wires and see if that helps any, i doubt they have been changed since it rolled out of Japan in the 90's ha!

 

what i would do is while you have the plugs out set the car to tdc and just check the timing while you are at it, take a few more minutes but then at least you would knwo.

Riddle me this....How do I fix my driver and passenger windows in my 91 Si? I can roll them down just fine but rolling them up is the tricky part, when it gets to about 80% up it starts to get crooked. I have to pull it up and push it out kind of to get it to go back into its track. Anyone got any suggestions?

 

it sounds like it gets derailed. maybe the rubber piece is off and you have to adjust it. that's happen to me a million times till I replaced the rubber trim.

Nice pic man, the only thing I would change is the headlights for some type r's and grill, those 2 things would make it look badass oh and a carbon fiber hood!

 

Not everyone has money like you JDMPR lol jk. The coupe looks sick how it sits in my opinion. Are those 15s or 16s?
