Had that problem when I bought my 91 dx. I was pretty sure it was the rails, but they are very sturdy, and bolted down quite well. I changed the regulator and it fixed the problem 100%.

Get a Cam
Port & Polish your head (3 angle vale job & Mill the head)
Port your throttle body

Are you planning to go all motor or Turbo or Nitrous?

 

what i did was i got a crower cam intake manifold, fpr edelbrock intake mani, the car is pretty quick for the amount i have into it, needs to be tuned since i am running the stock ecu, but runs out good.

I may be selling my intake mani and tb setup but not to sure yet.

i gut some thing to ask you guys i can get a v6 out of a old acura what all would it take to put that in my honda accord? just wondring ?

 

if it is out of an old cl or one from an accord it should drop right in except i dont know about getting a 5 speed

i looked at my brothers buddies 89 legend coupe with a v6 and the bay looks exactly like an accords bay. So i would assume it could bolt in with a little bit of work done to it. You might want to check some accord forums. Those older honda v6's pack a pretty good punch too soo good luck if you plan on doing the swap.

 

Damn SOHC is blowin up so many of us comin out of the wood works.
