first off, what are the codes for your check engine light?
second, make sure your timing is set right, would def. cause back firing

yeah pull your passenger side carpet so you can see your ecu and then put your car into the "on" position and the little window on your ecu should flash a little red led. i think it flashes slow then fast, the first slow flashes are multiples of ten and faster ones are ones.... i think and then it'll pause for ten seconds or so and repeat the code. write the code down and look it up here or something google should have it

God damnit, I'm really hoping someone can give me a hand with this as quick as possible..

So my front end is torn apart ready for my one pieces, turns out I don't have the H4 harness so i can't really wire my headlights.. No biggy, pick one up tomorrow (I don't want to just bare wire it) - But my damn fog lights don't have the backing plate on them anymore ... Is there ANY other car in America/Canada that I can rip a piece out that will fit.. It can't be exclusive to JDM 1 piece headlights for DA integras ..

If anyone can help I'd GREATLY appreciate it..

Also, the JDM fog lights.. are they H1's? Same as stock USDM fogs ?

Thanks !

the usdm has H4's while the jdms have H4H's (same thing just smaller version)... just color match the wires and splice them, just make sure to cover them with good electric tape... as for the fog lights, the wires for them are near the turn signals... as for the bulbs themselves i believe they are a version of H1's but have a different end connector that i have not seen on any other bulb

Far out....I don't log in for a couple of days and I have about 583 billion posts to catch up on!! Some nice cars in here

A bit dark, but I like it nonetheless. It's nice to have them both in the same pic

I picked up an H4 harness from Canadian Tire (Actually, I called them first..they said they didn't have them.. so I called them again when I had the part in my hand standing in the aisle. They weren't impressed) and wired it to my stock harness after cutting the plug off.. Works great for my highbeams, but the H4H bulb on my drivers side.. the low is burnt out.

The most reputable place I've found so far that has H4H's is Password JDM.. Anyone else know some good places to pick 'em up ? I'm driving around with highbeams on all the time now cus the one-bulb look makes my car look like a piece of garbage..

Still, the crappy thing is .. the plug for my fog's is gone. I can't slot a bulb in there and have it stay now. I have the metal clip and the plastic backing plate that covers everything (with the 2 screws) but inside the housing itself I assume there should be something similar to whats in my USDM fog - I might be able to find the part from the original owner of the lights but it's a long shot.. Damnit.. I don't want to run fog-less..

I'll post some pics of what the car looks like now with the JDM 1 pieces.. I love it.. What a difference

OK this is your issue...this is common on all DA's...check your thermostat housing and make sure the lead ground for the Coolant Temp Sensor is grounded properly...if you changed your coolant and thermostat recently that ground needs to be grounded properly or it will almost stall when you get to 3K RPM or less...this happened to my car and another one of my friends...give it a check and lemme know whats up ;-)
