About the swap your tranny out of your da will work just fine if its in good condition u will need a conversion harness(RYWIRE.COM) and any thing else u need thay should have as far as rods I think u mean linkage and yours will work just fine.Any more questions just ask and good luck.

I can for you tomorrow, no problem,

 

1. tell us about your da. how long have u had it? what was it like when u got it compared to now?
I got it 2 months ago for $500 to save it fom a wrecking yard, it had a piston that was torn to shreds and 2 rods through the block, how, idk!! it needed a cleaning, a motor, a clutch, mounts, axles, tires and came with a motor in the back of it that was in unknown condition!!
2. what do you like about your DA? why you chose it as a car
I have owned quite a few hatches while my friends owned DA's and there cars always handled better in canyons this is my second one and i just love the way it handles in the hills out here, when coming into a corner in it i dont get the feeing that it is gonna wash out on me
3. what are your future plans for your da?
paint job in a couple months with body work on rear quarter, next motor is to be bored over, port and polished head i already bought, intake, exhaust, full polyurathane bushing kit for everything, motor mount kit, full camber kit, lca's, strut tower bar that actually works
4. why do u want to be in the DA Squad?
I want to be part of something where people actually show respect for there DA's and dont just see them as another throw away dd, cause by far i know they are not


Only body damage on the car, should be repaired by summer



Clean interior no rips or stains and everything but stereo is original


Turned out to be a cracked head which i found wth leakdown tester, now has ported and polished head, b20 cams, a new timing belt, belt tensioner, and water pump!


257,xxx miles on chassis but getting a complete overhaul over next 2 months and getting the xsi cluster i have in a cabinet waiting


Who has 2 thumbs and loves their DA!!

car is being worked on daily and is awaiting an insurance settlement to get paint and more parts, just installed new oem taillights and moved my license which for people looking for tips try using the lower braket off a 92-93 front plate on the drivers side through the grill to mount the plate, that way you wont have to drill holes in the front of your bumper

 

and the 91 black DA behind mine has a b16a with an ls trans with 1-3 b16 gears in it, xsi cluster and xsi taillights, a real traction bar and some suspension work done, he should be posting on here soon he's xnickpx

Its different then all the civics that roll around, and when modified correctly it looks awesome. I bugged my friend to sell it to me, he had an ef and wanted to get rid of one so i bugged him till he sold it to me

BBecause simple mods are the most effective to make the car look good

I have had my DA for a couple months now and i love it! when i got it it was super dirty and the engine bay was a mess, i ended up cleaning up the bay and swapping a b16A into it. i also added some wheels to and cleaned up the interior and managed to get a jdm cluster, cut out the front bumper grill and got some honda emblems.

2. what do you like about your DA? why you chose it as a car
i have been in love with DA's since i layed my eyes on a locals, my first car was a EG hatch that i traded for a white DA but that DA wouldn/t pass emissions so i traded for another hatch but i missed my old DA so much that i ended up selling it and buying this DA.

3. what are your future plans for your da?
My future plans are to get a cup holder (loz), a better suspension set-up, some better wheels, a new paint job (white of course) and a quick release set-up and finally some JDM HID ITR headlights.

4. why do u want to be in the DA Squad?
I would like to be in the squad so i can represent the DA and to have a place where i can ask for help and make friends with people that love DA's like me.

Anyone have any reviews on skunk2 coilovers? They seem pretty affordable compared to most, or would tein s-tech's and Koni Red/Yellow's be a more logical approach ?

 

i finally put my one pieces on lol they look great id show some pictures but my camera died right when i was about to take them lol havent gotten around to charging it since anyways after i installed them i went to hit my hazard lights and nothing happened they worked fine with the 3 pieces anyone know what i did wrong?
