1. tell us about your da. how long have u had it? what was it like when u got it compared to now? my da is my anti drug pretty much lol ive had it since december 06 i know thats not long but im 17 its my first car and it sparked my love for the da. when i got it it had a few things wrong with it but it was pretty clean after about a week i became obsessed with fixing every little problem it had lol. not going to list everything i did. anyways some new mods i added to it was dc 421 an aem cai new ngk sparkplugs and wires dropped a sound system in it got some one pieces and just recently bought a c1 still waiting to swap.( i need to do my taxes already haha)


2. what do you like about your DA? why you chose it as a car
what is there not to like about a da i love the boxy old school look of it. wouldnt trade it for the world i love the interior. i love the feel of the car when driving its unlike anything else. i feel like im one with the road the truth why i chose my car, i was a few months away from getting my license and i needed a car my friend had just finished painting this da and put it up for sale i was the first person he told about it and after seeing the car i wanted it and after test driving it i was sold now i cant wait till i finish building this one and buying my next da

3. what are your future plans for your da?
my future plans as of now are to get this gsr installed and turbo it. buy some slipstreams or circuit 10s some lips and sskirts redo the interior new carpet headboards and reuhpolster the seats etc. and re painting it a different color im not much for the two tones..

4. why do u want to be in the DA Squad?
because i want to be able to give and gain information. and be surrounded by a gang of wonderful DA's and their knowledgable owners so that i can one day be completely full of knowledge about the DA, my obsession.


about the pictures they are way old i took them about 6 months ago lol havent taken new ones since i will soon i promise.

hazards? dont think the corners light up for the signals and hazzards only the bumper lights correct me if im wrong (mine is the same :D)

ive had my da about 3 years now i bought it off a member here on ht who took good care of it. it had suspension and exhuast on it when i got it since then ive swapped in a jdm itr, removed abs, jdm headlights with hid, wheels, gsr interior momo steering wheel. im gonna get some seats upgrade suspension and brakes real soon. i want back in the squad because i love reppin da's and can offer alot of help as ive done almost all the work myself. if its not to much trouble would like my old number back 366 thanks guys

Sup squad? Good news, and bad news. My oil pump died thursday, but i picked up a 91 4 door for 750 yesterday!!! Now i can dd the 4 door, and fix my baby how i want it. I'll post pics up soon

Hey what the hell happened ? I was part of the original DA squad list and I was number 72!!! A new list was made and I was never informed!!! It has been in my bio forever! I have been a member since 2005 and have been a member since and now I've been kicked out without notification!! ? Not only that but I have been representing the squad in my bio ever since 2005!!! I don't want to settle for a far back number when I have been an original member since!!! Please get back to me because this is ridiculous!

sorry, we started over with a new thread and new members in charge, post up pics of the car, some of the newbies may not have seen it or would like to see it. No one was notified, that's why you check the squad thread, it was posted in there several times.

 

So basically a senior member has just been kicked out of no where and has to start back with 2007 and 2008 noob members ? This is ridiculous!

no offense or anything,..but i think the whole reason for cutting down the squad was because there was too many inactive members..if you're barely noticing that there has been some changes with the squad, maybe you were one of those "inactive" members...

No. Theres a big difference between not logging on for a couple weeks at a time and being inactive. Hell, I didnt even notice the change until I stumbled upon it. This is no way to treat OG's.

 

I would like to be the first to appologize to you for any misunderstanding! The original DA Squad members' voting counsel felt the need to revamp and update the member's list due to many inactive members. I personally do not know what time bracket was veiwed, and I don't know if you might have fallen within this time bracket, but the final revision is not for me to question. I would suggest sending a PM to 90IntegraGS1.8L for more details.

I understand the need at getting rid of inactive members, but I have been logged in everyday and if you do not believe me than check the number of post I have been in daily and all of my open threads I have created and have been in! I will not stand to be pushed back into a far back number when I was one of the Original members when the very first DA squad actually started! and not only that, but it has been in my bio ever since 2005. This is just plain ridiculous if these provisions can not be acknowledged because of plain incompetence. If making this new "revision" or "revamp" means losing some of the original members who have FAR more knowledge of the DA who could educate other members of the DA for new NOOB members than so be it and I appologize for your lack of poor managing skills.

again..i meant no offense to anyone by what i said..i was just saying what i know. Squad needed some revamping..some people got added, others got removed. i'm in no way in any psoition to say who should be in and who should be out. I am a noob myself wantind in on the squad. i wasn't claiming he was inactive or anything, just catching him up on what's been going on, and trying to give an explanation as to why he might no longer be on. my apologize if my intentions were misunderstood.

redDAteg's statement should not by all means be ignored OR considered. it should be a given due to the fact that he has SENIORITY than nearly all of you.
please make any changes necessary for his rights on the DA squad assigned numbers.

on the other side, redDAteg, you gotta be active in the squad thread, even tho you are around HT, just come around sometime, check wassup with the squad and give it a bump man.

 

Could you not swap the new persons number with the old member, and give the guy currently #72 a swap to #359 or whichever, and keep redDAinteg at #72?

I don't know if that's much of a problem or not..
