So i put a DC header on and now my check engine light is comeing on but it doesnt come on right away only after a while driving like 10 min on the freeway. Also it will stay off if im driving around town done that fro well over 10 min and no light but get on the freeway or really get on it and there it goes

Squad, after finding out the body work I need to do with my car I'm thinking I might pick up a DB1 from down south and transfer all my parts from the DB2 over.

Idk.. 17s is just too much. You may say that it's possible that a DA can look clean with them... but seriously, would YOU rock 17s instead of 15s or 16s?
Highly doubt it. And I'm sure that there's probably a few that do look clean, but c'mon... serious? Not in the DA squad. It may be a silly rule, but it's only right.

lol my DA looked clean with the 17in Hanabes but i much prefer the 15x7 +20 meshies gonna be mounted soon!!!

But seriously, what 's the CEL for? You can put a paper clip in the jumper under the passenger side dash and count the blinks. One long blink is 10 and short blips are 1. You add it all together and get the code. Then you Google it.

haha word. Pulled my trans this weekend to change the input shaft bearing. Here's the things I found:
1.) Bad ISB
2.) Both differential bearings are bad
3.) Spider gears in diff are missing two teeth
4.) Case webbing around final drive is all broken off/jagged and has been floating around in the case for awhile destroying everything (because it's not magnetic)
Being that I can't afford a new trans or even the parts to rebuild this thing, I used half of my S80 case and final drive/diff and dropped the Y21 gears in. After some experimenting with shims, I finally got something that allowed the shafts to spin. Have it in the car now but haven't been able to try to start it because Advance Auto sold me the wrong axle seal. I swear they don't ever sell me what I want. In conclusion, the guy that sold me this trans ripped me off big time. What an *******.
