lol **** no man im fulltime. Im a nursing major. After I get my BS I'm still going to go back for my masters and thats like another 18 months added to that lol. Good thing is after school I plan on working ICU then transfer overseas to Ireland or the UK

 

Oh ok thats cool, my girlfriend works in our state hospital, nurses aid for now but shes going to school, for nursing, but i dont think hers is that long no clue, needles and blood are not my thing I pass out.lol hospitals do pay great money though gl

When i was in EMT school i was doing my clinical rotation in a emergency room and there was another student there doing his clinicals as well, he was a huge *** somoan dude. A guy comes into the ER with his wife with a giant cyst on his C-7 prominence. Now, quick anatomy lesson, feel the back of your neck, the bump u feel there is your cervical vertebrae. the saying goes, 3-4-5 keeps the diaphragm alive. anotherwards if you break those theres a good chance you will die, its also what makes folks quads. anyways the old guys cyst was the size of a grapefruit and his wife finally talked him into going to the hospital. the doc tells him, we are going to have to drain that before it starts to put pressure on your spine causing damage. the patient being a guy in his 70s hating hospitals agreed. when the doc cut the cyst large amounts of tapioca/ lumpy thick puss started to ooze out. the next thing you hear is WHAM!!!! the ****ing somoan dude fainted LOL

 

wow screw that! i'd have prob passed out too

 

lol I dig that stuff. I have tons of stories of things I've seen man.

haha, got ya. just be careful and always wear protection man. i've been down pretty hard before and if i wouldn't have had a helmet and jacket on i prob wouldnt be here. plus i ended up 5ft from hitting a bunch of trees after i slid like 200 feet (off the bike). **** happens waaay too fast man. but congrats on the nice bike.

 

speaking of bikes, we had a guy who t-boned a car and was not wearing his helmet. when we arrived on scene the guy was dead but had really no visual injuries, he was in v-fib <heart was quivering> and so we thought we might be able to save him and did cpr until we reached the er. the only visible injury was he had a small amount of blood in his nostrils. thinking that he scraped his external nares we thought nothing of it. well we got the guys heart to beat again but the guy never woke up. a few hours later when we got back to that hospital on another run i asked the doc what became of the guy and he said hes brain dead. that when he went over the hood of the car the cars antenna rammed up his nostril popped his palate and scrambled his brains all within a span of seconds because he flew over the hood and onto the ground. talk about shitty rare luck eh? wear helmets guys i dont want to be the guy telling HT how u died :-)

gloves/jacket and lid no matter how hot it is

Gotta hit up Yoparts to order my retainers, valves and Head Gasket and I can get the motor together.
