No I was not at the dyno day, I had to work...I was pissed i almost quit my job to go...but it was not that bad cause i go to the track with d-rob/jk/schmuck alot in the summer we have a blast....Ill be at there next one though

 

im stuck.... im kinda new... i know what i want.... im getting a gsr complete swap for 2200 is it good??? also i have a da ill post pics later... wat do u think boost my ls or spend more n boost the gsr... im boosting both either way but the ls is going into my ek shell... soooooo let me have it rip me for beeing a dumass lol

 

Well since no one else has answered your question, I will. all I did was flatten my rounded connector on the JDM wires so that I can make it fit. Just use two Needle nose pliers to flatten the rounded plug end and then just shape it until its able to firmly receive the US light plug. that's all. Its a PITA, but it gets the job, done and you don't have to worry about cracking your lenses open just to re route the USDM ones, unless your going to do it anyway to remove the fog light glare guards and/or what ever else you'd like to do to them.

Matt i am not too sure because i dont even have the money i was just making an estimate on how much I think i'll have but this is what will probably end up happening probably find a cheap head and build the head and then save up for pistons blah blah and do that than throw the head on? maybe get a new tranny some time too

Yea, I think the best way to do it is to slowly buy parts now that will work with your new motor, ie trans, Hondata, etc.
That way you are buying things that will benefit your new motor while still keeping yourself entertained.

Know what I mean?

 

so does anyone else hate snow/ice as much as me?! i wrecked my civic last night while i was working cuz of it!!!! slid right off the road and right up a bank and was less than a foot from hitting a decent size tree head on. when i came back down off the bank it pulled the corner or my bumper off (where it connects to the fender) so i had to put that back on before i could drive it and it was all but dark out so i have to go out here shortly and look it over to see what damage it did. i know it scratched up my FRESH paint job at the least!!!!!! FUUUUUCK ice! and snow!

 

yeah, i agree with matt on that. thats how my friend and i buy mostly all of our stuff for our builds. he spent a year rounding up the parts to build his block and i'm working on a year myself now lol. but by taking your time you find better deals that way.

yeah it does. i looked at it and i think everything is ok other than some scratches and paint flake by my headlight. im hoping i can get the scratches out or at least be able to hide them for the show coming up next month. then after the show my friend and i are doing all the body work it needs and repainting it. thinking of a color change to somewhat match what my da will be painted...
