Not that I wouldn't want you to follow conformity or anything...but its for the sake of proper aesthetics, put them under the turn signal...provided you have a 90-91 bumper.

the fogs in the bumper seem like overkill to me. i still don't understand why people go for that; it doesn't look good. on a DA with stock headlights you would have: amber, clear, amber/clear, and yellow (10 lights total in the front of a stock DA) overkill anyone?
edit: 10 on a stock DA, 12 if it has fogs

agreed, its the same way with del sols and the jdm lower fogs, with the standard inner fogs (for 92-95 sols) its just a little overkill, except for the few that manage to pull it off

Holy run-on, dude; what did you say?
Holy run-on, dude; what did you say?
you DO know what the top hats do correct?
they just allow more travel in the struts. if the strut is seated an inch higher, it's not going to have a different damper rate than if it's seated an inch lower. they're not going to improve handling, rather just improve longetivity of your struts.

i know what they're meant to do. And i also know that if there is more distance for the strut to move, then the car will lean more on hard turns do to that fact. I was just asking for other peoples opinions and seeing why/if they liked their top hats.
basically it gives your struts more distance to travel, i believe mine added 2 inches? so the ride isnt as stiff or bouncy and it DEFINENTLY improves the ride and comfort of your car

no my lights are oem, but i just barely noticed that for some reason my car was lighting up the top of a tree i havent had a chance to check it out yet. Could be from when the body shop reinstalled them?

that green DA gives me hope for the future of my car. Just curious, where do you get the foglights for the 90-91 bumpers?

Its a copy or actual Buddy Club Lip. The real lip is very hard to find and expensive. You can have a nice copy from JKENO112... He's out here in So Cal. I know this cuz I just asked.

No, I just brought it over from one of the other DA gangsta pages.
I was just showing how nice the fogs look on the 90-91's.

I have extended top hats, and I haven't experienced any such roll or un easy handling. If you look at the Torino Red DA, that's mine and that's how it sits.. now I only have front extended hats...I had them fab'd from the stock hats about 1" for both.
*** for anyone else thinking about extending their top hats. ***
If you get them done, don't go any further than that or else you will have hood clearance issues. I am experiencing the strut hitting the hood and I had to make a small dent to allow for movement of the strut. I don't think that I will have a need to buy rear extended top hats as the ride height you see is the lowest I go. I don't like slamming my DA as I don't ever want to damage the undercarriage or oil pan.
