yeah the easier way i can say is taking out your axle. it'll come right out with that out of the way

check on g2ic.com. there is a good thread on how to remove the alternator without taking the axle out. I had to do mine 4 times already and the write up on that thread helped out tremendously.

Blues are a oem replacement so it's like running stock shocks. You might as well put the springs on stock shocks and save for illuminas or koni yellows when they blow

alternator is easy. no need to take the axle out at all. it will still come out behind it.
my friend had blues on his 4 door civic with eibach springs and energy suspension master bushing kit and it was one of the best handling civics i've ever driven. now the gr2's he has on his current civic coupe with tein springs on the other hand, suck. not the springs, but the struts.

i wouldn't slam a car on Blues, i rode in my integra for a while like that and it sucked. i would spend more money on koni yellows the first time around then have to spend money on the Blues then the koni's after they blow.
my fried has his ef slammed on blues and it rides awesome doesnt bounce, so i figured they would be good for the tien springs mah bad lol
i got my tien basics brand new for 575 so i cant complain they are sweet, im gonna get skunk2 pro Cs next and put the basics on the DB1 im thinkin about getting

Counting the number of times I had to jack the car up and remove/install the alternator, yes. 1st time pulling the one that was taking a dump. 2nd time, replacing it with a pep boys reman. third time pulling out the pep boys reman which turned out to be a bad rebuild that lasted 3 days, and the 4th time putting in a better rebuilt one from a 95 GSR from kragen/checker. So I guess practice makes perfect.

i should have done that, but I was trying to get the car ready for a race, and it made it and held up when i needed it to, but 3 days later that shitty reman took a dump, so I got my use out of it I guess. Its not like it was hard to do, I'm just getting old and the marine corps has broken my body down quite a bit so working on cars isn't as fun as it use to be like it was 12 years ago.

so a little while back i traded a bare b18b block for what i thought would be a bare b16 block, i got the the spot that was discussed for us to meet at and he showed up with a complete short block i was like SCORE! he didn't want cash on top either. i was an incredibly happy guy that day.
