10-15hp? no way man. maybe 4. and back pressure is a myth. why would cars make the most amount of power open header? every bend past the last merge in the header is a restriction. search for the scavenging effect. its some pretty interesting stuff. id run a 3" on my b20vtec if i would have gotten as good of deal on the muffler as i did for a 2.5" one. $120 shipped for a 2.5" vibrant muffler with a 12" vibrant resonator, btw.

Cars make the most PEAK power open header. Throughout the rest of the powerband is a different story.

Sorry. I know you think I'm a dick and all, but there is NO WAY you will make 10 horsepower on a stock B18A1 with an exhaust.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Lsvtec_Integra &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">im running 3 inch straight pipe all the way back

Unless you're making some SERIOUS power, you're killing your low end and mid range power. It says in your sig that your car is all motor, so you're exhaust is definitely overkill. Not only that, if you daily drive the car, you're just killing the part of the powerband you use the most.

it depends. a 3" exhaust can be used on a k or on a b with enough displacement, imo. ive seen some dyno graphs to prove it.

there is no way your car gained 10 hp with a welded on cat back exhaust on a stock b18a. your butt dyno might make it seem faster, but 10 hp from just an exhaust.....no way

im making 200whp all motor on a built ls/vtec with a jasma header and 3 inch straight pipe

my motor used to be boosted thats why its 3 inch but when i dynoed and tuned for all motor i dident lose any power cause if the straight pipe
