if you snapped the head off, you need to go buy a extractor and i personally like to use a brand new bit every time. don't use a dull bit cuz you'll be there all day and it's not worth your frustration for the few bucks a new one-time use bit will cost. the extractor will say which size bit to use on it. take the broken head with your and find a extractor that calls for a bit which is roughly half the diameter of the bolt core. you need to make sure you drill straight and right down the middle. good luck. and it sounds like you live in a rusty area, look for something called rost off.

Kansas :/ and is there a cheaper way to do this? I do not have the money to buy a drill then buy an extractor then yada yada yada I have already put over $100 bucks into installing this suspension and I do not have any money for anything else, I'm even doing an at home alignment because of it.

a bit is 5-7 bucks a extractor is under 10 bucks. you can spend 18 bucks now, or spend hours which = $$ and be in the same spot. use the right tools, it's the correct way. if you don't have a drill, your neighbor might.

it's alright man just take your time and learn from it. if the methods your trying don't seem to work try something else. penetrating lube helps alot, it works best if you let it set over a extended period of time. i've had bolts that i fight and fight and fight, i'de spray with lube before i go home for the night then when i come back in the morning it just spins right off. those chemists know whats up, give em a shot . heat is your friend as well, just know how it affects the metal. don't heat up the bolt, heat up the bolt hole.

GMG! ASH
Tech
I am sorry to here about your war stories. I suggest before anymore mods, that each day/week before & after driving you lubricate your chassis w/ rust buster. Ideally it should loosen the bolts w/ time.
basically re-affirming what port said.

Tech: sorry to hear about your troubles, be patient like everyone says I know the feeling dude when **** doesn't go right you just want to break everything. Go do something else for a bit, shoot a gun, play some games, smoke, drink lol just get away from the car for a bit.
I had that problem yesterday taking my CC out, I couldn't get the damn wire to slip off the bracket on the pedal. I just went inside for an hour or so then came back out and it slipped right off first time.
Good luck man and like port and rare said, get the right tools even if it takes a couple more days to get the money together.
Port: Paint looks amazing I can't wait to see it all done.
My first trouble free perfect fitment install! My depo tail lights went in absolutely perfect! And they look awesome. Sooo here are my pics
And I might have also sold my spoiler there's the money to buy my 80$ of wiring I need!

Thanks much.
The 96-98 sedan red/white tail lights are like that lol they changed them when they went to 99-00. I like it with the white on bottom too, but I don't wanna do a trunk conversion just to have that and I like the look of ej8 tail lights better, not so rounded.
--Oh and I found my hood possibly! I think if this lady buys my spoiler I'm gonna get this hood and put off the wiring for a bit. The hood would complete the outside of my car finally lol. A hood, a quick headlight buff and polish and it'll be how I want it.

Tech - I know it can be frustrating when things do not go the way they should. Just think of it as a learning experience.
