Jose - if your key doesn't stay in the ignition switch it sounds like you either have a worn switch or key.

Rare - the paint looks great. I like the spirits decal but I dont know about the rare one. Maybe because the font looks like the ones on the mugen wheels. Maybe change the font to be original? Or maybe a small size decal that fits the lip of the wheel instead of overlapping.

Your ignition switch is worn out. Its a semi common problem. Its installed with breakaway bolts too, which are easy to pull out if you know what youre doing but can be a bitch if you don't.

How about a CD changer? The OEM changer wont take up that space at all as it's in the trunk.
I don't like cd changers majority of the time I used my ipod. More Music... Honda intended that space for a New Deck too.

I've got something called ipod2car in my sedan. If you guys like having a larger collection of music with no CDs and wanna use the stock headunit check it out I've got nothing but good things to say about it.

Honda never intends you to buy a new headunit. If they did they would have never wired the dome light and keyless entry circuit of your car into your stock head unit. Trust me, pull out your stock head unit, and put in that cool block off plate you wanted and find out what happens. Lights out.

You are absolutely TRUE on that.... but I have bypassed it and the stock radio is not even connected. But, yea my dome lights work....... if anyone need to bypass there UNIT.... I can check my wires.

LET ME KNOW..

I'll take some pics later and post them up. Only need to connect two wires from the radio harness thats not needed to bypass...... and working DOME Lights.

Yes. There is a wire modification to loop the dome light circuit(green wire on radio harness if I'm not mistaken). Most of the newer METRA radio harnesses have this built in because Honda got stupid on the 96-98 Radio circuitry. They actually fixed that problem in the 99-00 harness, so I have to give them credit for ending the madness. That whole issue is what kept me from switching out my radio back in the late 90's.

The only benefit I can see to what you are doing is the theft deterrence. It would be nice to flip up the cup holder to cover the Alpine, and leave the unattractive OEM radio in the dash for would-be window shopping thieves.

The down side of the Cd Changer that goes in the trunk is that if you live here in NYC you cant hear a whole song without it skiping a million times because of how bad the roads are over here. ....lol

I've also heard vtec + boost > just boost ....is that incorrect? Or, is it just not significant enough to be worth it?

I'm wondering....because my plans are verrrry similar to Moosecakes..strange we're both 18... I figured if I'm going to build it up a bit, why not grab a y8 head and all the goodies. I'm very curious..is that kind of stupid? I've heard it so many different ways it's annoying.

also...different topic...I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust while downgrading loud obnoxiousness...how does the Mugen twinloop sound inside the car?

The setup on my car right now is Spoon header/megan racing catback It came with the car and I've lived with it for a while...but parts are coming loose and it's time for a change.

Aside from the axel back exhaust...what would I need to hook it up to the header?

I'm surprised the Spoon header bolted up to a Megan B pipe. No cat? How big is the Megan piping? Any pics of the setup?
