Finally we see your car again Mr EK9

Your SOHC makes me think twice if I should still get a swap in the future.

does VRD's car still exist? last time I heard he said he traded it or something. It would be cool if you took pic of your cars together.

^ I traded parts with my brother's coupe. It's back to stock now because I needed a winter beater.

It looked just like it when I first got in my GC/Yellow and Si lip.

I'm keeping my SOHC Gonna fully build and turbo it, hoping to run 17psi and make around 300+ hp Just gotta get a job. I love the look of a full wire tucked SOHC Bay. Even though I'm starting with less ***** than a B series I wanna build this and have something unique in my area. Or at least with my friends.

very nice sedan! God I love mudflaps, I just can't bring myself to spend 100$ on F/R ones when I can only use the front unless I modify my rear lip to fit with the rears... I really like the color of your car too.

Mine will be my DD and if you wanted swap a y8 head or a z6 head and add Vtec to it.

I just priced out a full build, forged pistons, rods, full built head, brand new turbo, manifold, DP, intercooler, BOV, Wastegate minus guages and boost controller it's at 3600$ I could do more budget, *which I probably will* and get like a volvo turbo or something from a junk yard. That would knock off 550$ maybe pickup a used intercooler or something...

There's lots of options. I've been researching everything for about a month and a half now lol. If you look at price to HP wise with a swap. Before a tune I'm at the same price as a stock CTR motor and making way more HP.

if you boosting there is no need for vtec head. Just change the intake manifold to y8 or aftermarket.

Mike: yeah i do have adjustable cam gear. Its retarded 4.5 degree to match the obd1 ecu.

DAMN! I would have taken them off ur hands lol!

Well, if he threw a vtec head on it, he would have a little more power before he boosts or builds. Just a cheep quick little upgrade for a bit of power. Not that vtec does much for a D series lol. I need a job....

Viskii What manifold is that? custom built or?....

Oh gotchya, it looks nice. I like the polished look. Might I ask your setup and how much power you are or will be putting down?

its build d16y8/z6 head on stock sleeves. Aiming at 400whp+ DD but at the moment I'll be happy with any numbers. Pay a visit turbod16.com; helpful forum when it comes down to turbo sohc's.

Damn, what pistons and rods are you running? I'm leaning towards vitara FJD custom length Ibeams. There budget price but good quality. Heard lots of good things about them. Wow, I'd be happy for 300 lol. How much are you planning on boosting?

vitara/eagle is a good combo. Cannot really speculate how much boost i'm going to run since its my first build. I planing to stay on good turbo efficiency range not just peak power. What ecu management you planin to run?

Not sure, if money permits it, hondata S300, if not chipped p28.. I'd take an S200 too, just gotta figure it out when the time comes but I'm thinking probably p28.

I did consider vitara/eagle. but it drops the compression a bit too low. I'm hoping to be around stock compression or maybe up to 10:1 and have a bit of before boost power so it's not completely gutless.

Nice looking car, White is such a nice color. If it wasn't such a bitch to repaint my car white from my color I would be all over a championship white w/ takata green rims combo. but I can't have that down time since it's my only car. You planning on a lip or lowering at all?

I'm already planning to get the SiR Lip..... definitely going to give that front end a face lift. Maybe fogs....going to see how it looks first.

Lowering the car....... No disrespect and all, but I kinda hate scapin' and having to deal with the speed bumps moving left and right and all. My bro got a Slammed 4dr like mines. I drive his car sometimes and it just gets annoying for me. No doubt...... DROP car looks hella nice, but maybe in the future or something.
