Default lsvtec turbo question...

I am posting for a friend who has a lsvtec ls block with gsr head and he wants to go turbo. His question is what compression should he be running and how much pounds of boost should he run? Oh by the way the engine is in a 92 civic hatch dx

Thanks

I tihink 8psi would be safer

but brega3 has a turbo ls/vtec, so I think he knows better...

this is kind of off topic but i heard that vtec heads blew rather quickly on b18b blocks....or is that b20?

anyways i would think about that before adding boost, to a higher compression head, remember boost=10x the miles on ur engine

Put some cp pistons in with 9:1 compression a block guard eagle rods and some JG valve springs and retainers and you should be safe anywhere from 10-16psi. i have the same set up on my hatch and its my daliy driver.
