How do we go about doing so? he thought he programed it right when he first installed but but it wasnt right or something like that..programed at half throttle and he blew his throttle body to *****. so now im on here trying to figure out how to do it right. thank you all in advance for the help.

It's something like you have to hold the button down on the box for certain amount of time and then hold the throttle WOT. I have the instructions at home. Will post up later.

if it is one of the older setups, ones that have no button, be sure to keep the positive terminal on the battery disconnected while installing, after you have it hooked to the 12v and the tps signal and all the grounds and stuff, when first turning the key over to the point where the fuel pump turns on, the light on the unit should flash, then you put the pedal all the way to the floor for about 10 seconds until the unit flashes, and then take your foot completly off the throttle for about 10 seconds, until it flashes. then it knows your throttle points. I am pretty sure that is how it went. It has been a few years....

Turn the key to on position but do not start, turn on arming switch, look under hood light should be red, press down button on side for 3 seconds and release, get back in car and depress accelerator pedal for 10sec, look under hood lights should be blinking from red to green to off, get back in car and turn the key off then back on again, light under hood should stay green, thrnturn arming switch off....hope that helps

Is it a wet kit? If it isn't, I would question how the tb blew up.
