Default z6block/d15b7 head??

i searched, even the archived

i was wonderin how a z6 block (stock) with a d15b7 head (stock) would hold up to 5-6.5lbs of boost.

im runnin the greddy 15g kit and the greddy e-manage, soon to be a chipped ecu tuned with uberdata or crome

how will this hold up, whats the CR gonna yeild?

Why would you do that? It would have 8:1 compression and really crappy flow, so, sure, you could do it, but why?

my d15's throwin out some cruicial blue smoke, and the breather on my valve cover emits smoke alos, i heard that was the case of bad rings, so i was just wanting to know if putting a d16 block on my ***** would help or hurt, and that way i can use the rings being bad as an excuse to get a stronger, better block for my set up

you have access to a full z6? just put the whole thing in... but I guess if you only have the block this would work, like I said, low compression...

nothing like detuning a perfectly good block...

save yourself $80-100 and grab a d16 head for God's sake.
