d15b7 w/ z6 head or just whole z6 ??
i have a d15b7 and i picked up a z6 head for 50 bucks. while it was off i wanted to get all the seals replaced, retainers..just rebuild it for boost. this will be the first swap/boost operation i will be working on....
the thing is someone mentioned that why dont i just pick up a z6 block and build that for boost?
what i am wondering is which is better for boost? the mini me swap or the z6 head/block set up??
i tried searching but i couldnt find exactly what i was looking for. i just found times and set ups.
any help is appreciated guys thanks alot.

If you are staying with a stock block I would recommend going with the Z6 block, it has the stronger rods.

well i was going to stay with the pretty much stock block, i mean stock rods but upgraded pistons.
but is it recommended that i upgrade the rods on which ever block i go with??
i dont plan on getting exreme amounts of hp out of this its a daily driver so.
i want like around like 160whp...if that sounds resonable

for 160whp you will be fine on the d15 block, but trust me you will want more than a measily 160whp.
