Wolfman93's 11.5:1 d16z6 turbo dreams
May have been covered but can't find any answers.
I'm wanting to build a high compression turbo d16z6. It will be sleeved. My question is with it being sleeved is 11.5:1 possible with 20psi? It will only be 10psi for daily. It will be tuned by a well known tuner in my area who has tuned many high powered cars. My power goals are going to be around 600-625 at the wheels. Any help or suggestions would greatly be appreciated.

My random $.02 here...
-PSI is relative
-Fuel type is critical
-There's no need for that much compression in a D series (what I would assume is a) street car.
-Turbo sizing and its complementary components in the kit is more important
-How much power do you realistically want to make on an regular basis...

Turbo blue for fuel it's 118 octane for big boost and mixed 93 and turbo blue for streetability. 450-500 on reg basis and the car will really only be driven a couple miles to work and back but a lot more on weekends. 2.5" inner cooler piping, and not sure yet on turbo size.

why you want so much power? thats not gonna be streetable at all ...have you ever driven a 500HP+ honda?
Traction issues start at around 350HP.....600HP forget about it you wont be any faster then a 300hp car just spinning tires

Yes I have. I drive my brothers 916 whp ek sometimes. And it's streetable. It also hooks just fine. He is helping setup suspension and everything else so I will hook.

Yes because he's currently in jail and I can't talk to him about it. So I'll wait til he gets out whenever that'll be.

Honestly go for it. I don't know when he's getting out of jail so I'll prolly just stick with 9ish:1 compression and build it. Just found out my block has never been bored so only going to 75.5 and I'll go from there.
