J. Davis? I'm not sure what your talking about.. There was nothing shinny on his old setup.. I don't think there is any pvc on the new intercooled setup..Thats just because I had enough steel laying around for him to use.
there's gonna be a lot of upset people if that setup holds.... some of us have custom steel or aluminum tubing that was a bit on the expensive side!

I won't be upset at all if the set-up holds. Actually I hope the set-up holds and gives you zero problems. I'm just saying I wouldn't do it on a high hp application...
Good luck

Ive been in home depot, and thought about doing the same thing!
its really not much more to get it done the right way.
it will probably hold for a while, but the pvc will distort after long periods of heat.
i fully intend to do it the right way but right now im in college and only drive my car like every other weekend. it will be in the garage all winter too. so im not driving it hardly at all right now. and it definetly is LOTS more to do it the right way. to buy the pipes from jc whitney and do it yourself will cost you at least 150 bucks. thats not too bad, but if you have it all done in aluminum and welded beautifully then its going to cost alot more. like 400 to 800 bucks which i think is rediculous.
