Default Why is it knocking

Hi why is my engine knocking at 21psi ?

my setup
b16a2 stock sleeve
head stock
cp 9.1
eagle
gt35r
rc1000cc
walbro 255
msd 6al and blaster 3
megasquirt ecu
98oct fuel

i got it tuened at 19 psi and all ok but at 21psi it start knocking
but what i have read on hondatech some of you guys are running on moore boost on same fuel and almoste same build

if it wasn't tuned beyond 19psi, then you need to get it tuned to the max boost setting you are going to run.
Is that 98 ron or 98 ron+mon/2? if it's really just 91, then your probably at the limit of the fuel you are using.

I'd blame it on the crappy MSD analog box, or the crappier Megasquirt, throwing off your ignition timing.

If you get something that can correctly control your coil dwell, like a chipped OBD1 ECU perfect example, you don't need a third rate ignition amplifier box to do a poor job of cleaning up the disaster of a coil signal that MS puts out with it's cutting edge pull down menu w/ less than ten canned coil profiles.

yes he treyed to tune it from 19 to 21psi but starter to knock

hmm im in europe dont know if it is ron or mon it is pump fuel

what is better than msd6al? MSD 7-AL2?
