Default why the bogging all of a sudden

the past two days i have not been able to reach full boost (8psi) at around 5 psi i start to bog like crazy. i dont know wat it could be. i thought that maybe my FPR **** on me but it seems to be working fine.

my car is tuned and ran like a ****** champion. can too hot of intake temps cause my car to bog? i have no way i reading my temps but it has been hotter than a bitch latley. i got my car tuned during the winter so you think it could make this difference?

i have switched out plugs and my fuel pump. messed around with my BTM and i still cant figure it out.........can anyone shed some light?

afc
dsm 450's
wlabro 255

i have my BTM set at about .3 retard/1psi boost. i dont think its timing related because i have tried all different settings and i know the btm is working because i disabled it and ran 4 degrees of retard at the ditributer and its the same outcome.

exhaust is good. i tightened everything down.

today i did a few runs but first i turn the boost down to 5psi. after every run i moved up 1 psi and it was going smoothley until i reached 8psi. the highest i can boost up to is 7psi. i think its my FPR because my fuel pressure fluctuates sometimes. it either gets higher or lower or its stays at my set PSI. i am thinkin that my fuel pressure is dropping under boost.

if your fuel pressure drops under pressure then your running lean which would cause white smoke to come out your exhaust...have you had anyone follow you to see if its black or white smoke coming out your exhaust???? also do you have a missing link??? mine went bad and cause the car to bog during boost and just regular shifting....what color where your tips on the spark plugs when you pulled them out??? check you afc wiring to see if you have a loose connection too...just some thoughts...

im running the hack so a missing link is not needed. i have not had anyone ride behind me. but i always look into my rear view while im boosting hard and i dont notice any smoke........unless im blind. AFC connections are good. my plugs are a brownish color everytime and yes i shut down right after boosting to get a good read on my plugs.

*wish i had an in car fuel pressure gauge*

the **** has been racking my brain but today after doing those runs im willing to bet the FPR is at fault. ill see if after i buy a new one, i wanted to go areomotive but its out of my budget right now, so AEM will do

anyone else have suggestions?

i can do that but then that would suck that i paid $200 to tune my AFC then i just make up my own settings..........i guess if it makes it run at 8psi i cant go wrong.

oh and thanks turbodx........my car will be back to its street beast status.....its just a matter of time.
